Administration

The Peters Township Administrative office is responsible for general administration of the day-to-day affairs of the Township, subject to the policy direction of the Township Council. 

The Township Manager oversees Township staff and coordinates the responsibilities of the various departments. Major duties include:

  • Appointing department heads
  • Executing all Township laws and ordinances
  • Making policy recommendations
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Preparing and submitting the annual budget and budget message
  • Preparing Council meeting agendas
