What Is the Exchange Zone?
The "Exchange Zone" consists of two specifically identified parking spaces that are under video surveillance 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This area was specifically designed to offer community members a secure location to conduct transactions during internet sales dealings or child custody exchanges between parents. All too often we hear of incidents where this type of activity ends poorly for one of the parties involved.
In an effort to prevent these types of incidents we have created the Exchange Zone. The Peters Township Police encourage members of our community to use the Exchange Zone to reduce the likelihood of inappropriate or even illegal behavior.
The Exchange Zone is located in the Parking Lot of the Police Station. Look for the sign and the red striped parking area.
