NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PETERS TOWNSHIP
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA 

Sealed Proposals will be received by Peters Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA 15317, until 11:00 A.M., on Friday, April 3, 2026, for the following:

Expansion and overlay of the amphitheater parking lot at Peterswood Park (approximately 2,400 square yards), including linestriping, signage, bumper blocks and lawn restoration; and the resurfacing of five 8’ wide Arrowhead Trail Connector paths (approximately 1,940 linear feet).  Also, one Add Alternate for an additional 460 linear feet of 5’ wide pedestrian path resurfacing.

All proposals must be in the hands of Paul F. Lauer, Township Manager, Peters Township, 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA  15317, before 11:00 A.M. prevailing time on Friday, April 3, 2026 and the same will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter in Council Chambers.  Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “2026 Asphalt Resurfacing – Amphitheater Lot & Pedestrian Paths”.  Copies of Bidding Documents are available for public inspection at the Peters Township Municipal Building, 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA  15317.  Bidding Documents may be purchased for $50.00 per set.  No refund will be made for the return of any documents.  Bids shall only be considered valid if bidder is included on the official plan holder list.  Only the purchase of the plans and specifications from the Township will place purchaser on the official plan holder list.     

Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) is required.  Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages will be paid on this project.  Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by an executed Non Collusion Affidavit on the form provided.

The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
