Peters Township Seeking Board Members for:

  • Construction Appeals Board
  • Environmental Quality Board
  • Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee

Peters Township is seeking resumes from Township residents willing to volunteer their time and talent to serve on the following boards:

Construction Appeals Board (Meets annually & on as needed basis) - The Construction Appeals Board is a regulatory board that hears appeals and requests for interpretation of the Uniform Construction Code. The Board also provides recommendations as to the adoption of code revisions.

Environmental Quality Board (2nd Tuesday of month, 7:30 p.m.) 
Seeking Interested Adults & Peters Township High School Students
The Environmental Quality Board advises the Peters Township Council with regard to the development and implementation of policies and programs aimed at preserving and enhancing the environment and character of Peters Township. In addition, Board members actively participate in environmental projects and programs such as the annual Peters Township Cleanup Day.

Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee (Meets annually & on as needed basis) - The Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee periodically reviews the progress of the Transportation Capital Improvements Plan implementation and provides recommendations to the governing body for revisions or updates to the land use assumptions, capital improvements plan, or impact fees. The Peters Township Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee consists of eight (8) members. The five members of the Planning Commission serve on the Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee. The remaining three members of the Traffic Impact Fee Advisory Committee are real estate professionals, developers (commercial and/or residential), and building industry professionals that live or conduct business in the municipality.
